Rehearsals for Seussical

Rehearsals for Seussical are going well and we can't wait to share it with you this Easter at South Hill Park. Great fun for all the family.

This is Luke Robinson and he plays one of the naughty Wickershams brothers:

Remember The Face?

Remember this utterly gorgeous face from our record breaking Pantomime production last year, Cinderella?
We are delighted to be welcoming the ever so entertaining Brad Clapson back to the stage as he takes on the role of Horton the Elephant in our Easter musical extravaganza, Seussical! Catch Brad and a whole host of super talented cast members of all ages from the 13th April!

Where's Bear? Part 5

Where is Bear? Driving here and driving there. Bear has gone abroad this week, do you know where he is?

Where's Bear? Part 4

The Bear got lost checking out the venue... Where is the Bumper Car Bear?  #AnimAlphabetTheMusical

Seussical Rehearsals

An opportunity for budding young performers to take their first steps on the stage, a chance for local audiences to enjoy an entertaining night out, and a place where homegrown talent discovers that this is what they’re born to do." - Broadsheet Boutique on 2016's record breaking Oliver!
We're ready to hit another record as we set to bring the pages of Dr Seuss's books to life before your very eyes in the Wilde Theatre, from 13th April. Seussical, the musical, is the opportunity to support the vast amount of local talent, while enjoying the professional feel staged production.
Seeing our cast members (older and younger!) develop, grow and nurture newbies to the acting scene through the SHP productions is why we do this - our in-house shows are brought by the community, for the community, and this will always lie at the very heart and soul of our theatre.
Rehearsals are well and truly set for the show, and we couldn't be more excited to bring you the most colourful, delightful and unforgettable Easter show yet - with hints of nostalgia that will warm the cockles to the core!
Seussical teaches the importance of individuality, standing up for what you believe in, the power of imagination, and daring to dream.

Mark Hooper:
So lucky to be working with such a talented local cast. Why travel into London with such top quality performances on the doorstep!?
